Thank You! A 2021 donation update

I’m writing this post to everyone who bought a woven thing from me this year! Your help enabled me to donate to Black & Pink, an organization that I think is doing some amazing work. To each person who bought a washcloth or towel or scarf, to the lovely folks at Process General who matched my donation, to my most frequent customer this year Lisa, to my supporters on Patreon, and my partner Michael, thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

So now, at the almost-end of the year I can announce that I will be donating $210 to Black & Pink!

We donated $210 to Black & Pink this year!

I am so gratified to be able to turn the work I do alone in my bedroom studio into money, that supports actual good work in the world. This means we are supporting work dedicated to  abolishing the criminal punishment system and liberating LGBTQIA2S+ people and people living with HIV/AIDS who are affected by that system through advocacy, support, and organizing. I will be continuing to donate a percentage next year, and in January I will announce the details of that donation plan.

Thank you as well to everyone who has liked, shared, and told your friends about my work.

Happy New Year!
